Area author Beverly Fontenot has written her second book, “Using Noah to Backtrack History for Children.” During a recent book signing at The Barnes & Noble at Longwood in downtown Farmville, Fontenot said the book was inspired by her desire to know her own ancestry. According to Fontenot, “Finding where you come from is very popular, very now in the 21st century. People want to know their origins. As a woman of color I want to inspire all children, but especially children of color, because tracing our roots can sometimes be quite daunting.
