All are welcome to join the LCVA for the 17th Annual Valentine’s Day Free Family Workshop, Art to Your Heart’s Content, Saturday, Feb. 9, from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. As love songs fill the air, children will have the opportunity to participate in multiple art activities that embrace historic Valentine’s Day traditions. There is a perfect art project for everyone’s sweetie pie at this event.

Art projects include, flower-making, hand-crafted and stamped envelopes, decorating hearts and design-your-own valentines, just to name a few. There will also be face-painting and a reading corner. This event is free and open to the public; no registration is required. Supplies and plenty of smiling and skilled volunteers will be on hand. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

The Farmville Lions Club, who are presenting sponsors of this event, will be offering free vision screenings for children at this February workshop.
