Louise Call Bailey, 75, of Buckingham died January 3, 2019. She was born February 5, 1943 in Buckingham County, a daughter of the late George W. Call and Mable Call. Louise was a hard worker, whether cleaning house, ironing, cooking, child care or elder care; she touched many lives in the county.

Louise is survived by a son, Jack D. Bailey, Jr.; two daughters, Brenda West and Lisa Elgin; two sisters, Florence Banton and Shirley Flowers; eight grandsons, Chris Bailey, Justin Bailey, Robert Elgin, John Taylor Jr., Steven Elgin, Joshua Bailey, Lucas West and James Miller; two granddaughters, Nicole Bailey and Rebekah Bailey; a special aunt, Frances Call Taylor and many other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack D. Bailey, Sr.; her son, Bill Witt Bailey; granddaughter, Elizabeth West and two brothers, George W. “Dump” Call and James “Beanie” Call.

Funeral services were held January 7, 2019 at the Dunkum Funeral Home with interment in the Buckingham Community Cemetery.
