Virginia House of Delegates, Speaker Kirk Cox has announced that Delegate C. Matt Fariss has been appointed Chairman of Subcommittee #1 of the House Militia, Police and Public Safety Committee.

“Matt is a valued member of the House of Delegates and an experienced leader within the House Militia, Police and Public Safety Committee,” said Speaker Kirk Cox. “Throughout his tenure as a member of the committee, he has established himself as a thoughtful, respected and fair leader who listens and works well with his colleagues on both sides of the aisle. I look forward to having Matt lead this important subcommittee.”
