MEETING, 10:30 a.m. of The Judith Randolph-Longwood Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution at the Farmville-Prince Edward Community Library, Farmville. Guest speaker will be Dee Dee Van Buren, Refuse to be a Victim Certified Instructor. The topic will be: “How to Stay Safe.”
CVA NEW BEGINNINGS PARTY AND MEMBERSHIP MEETING, 3 p.m. at the home of Sandra Breil, 608 First Ave., Farmville. Members are requested to bring a savory or a sweet bite. Please contact Leslie Dennison or Lois Thomas if you are planning to bring a treat.
MALE CHORUS 4TH ANNIVERSARY, 3 p.m. at Peaks Baptist Church, 1948 Peaks Road, Prospect. Guest will be the White Oak Grove Baptist Church male chorus of Phenix, Sulphur Spring Baptist male chorus of Pamplin and Mt. Zion Baptist male chorus of Red House. All are welcome.

SUNBONNET SUE STITCHERS, 10 a.m. will meet in the conference room of the J. Robert Jamerson Memorial Library, on Main Street in Appomattox. A knitting, crocheting, embroidery, sewing and cross stitch group that meets every other Monday to exchange patterns, teach skills and share in good conversation. Everyone welcome.
MOBILE PANTRY, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Community Center Complex, 1874 Anderson Highway sponsored by Cumberland Community Cares. This is a change in date due to the President’s Day holiday on the third Monday.

STORY AND CRAFT TIME, 11 a.m. at the J. Robert Jamerson Memorial Library, on Main Street in Appomattox. A library employee will read an age appropriate book followed by a simple craft project. This program lasts approximately 30 minutes.

CAREGIVER SUPPORT GROUP, 3:30-4:30 p.m. at Centra PACE, 1530 South Main St., Farmville. Offered by Centra PACE this program offers a caregiver support group to help caregivers. Angela Edmonds, clinical social worker with Centra PACE will facilitate the meeting. You do not need to be part of the PACE program to attend.
