MEETING, 10:30 a.m. of The Judith Randolph-Longwood Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution at the Farmville-Prince Edward Community Library, Farmville. Guest speaker will be Dee Dee Van Buren, Refuse to be a Victim Certified Instructor. The topic will be: “How to Stay Safe.”

SUNBONNET SUE STITCHERS, 10 a.m. will meet in the conference room of the J. Robert Jamerson Memorial Library, on Main Street in Appomattox. A knitting, crocheting, embroidery, sewing and cross stitch group that meets every other Monday to exchange patterns, teach skills and share in good conversation. Everyone welcome.
MOBILE PANTRY, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Community Center Complex, 1874 Anderson Highway sponsored by Cumberland Community Cares. This is a change in date due to the President’s Day holiday on the third Monday.

COMPUTER CLASSES, 10-11 a.m. at Farmville library. This week’s lesson, Introduction to Computers. Call the library, (434) 392-6924 to sign up.
STORY AND CRAFT TIME, 11 a.m. at the J. Robert Jamerson Memorial Library, on Main Street in Appomattox. A library employee will read an age appropriate book followed by a simple craft project. This program lasts approximately 30 minutes.

AFTERNOON ACTIVITY, 3:30-5 p.m. at Farmville library for children ages 6-12. State Park ranger will share snow fun and experiments.

CORN HOLE TOURNAMENT, 6 p.m. at Red House Volunteer Fire Department. Food will be served at an additional cost. Enjoy 50/50 drawing and door prizes. Winning team will receive a monetary prize. Angela Edmonds, clinical social worker with Centra PACE will facilitate the meeting. You do not need to be part of the PACE program to attend.
