Thirteen young men from Fuqua School participated in “No-Shave November.” The National program was started in response to a cancer victim’s trials before losing his life, and now many organizations link the event to charitable causes. In exchange for donations of canned food for FACES Food Pantry, the local food bank, pupils were allowed to sport facial hair for the month, a break from Fuqua School’s usual dress code regulations. Sheila Hight of FACES came to meet the young men and collect the donations.
