The Third Thursday Book Club met Nov. 20 at the home of Yvonne Costello. The speaker was Brent Roberts, Dean of the Greenwood Library at Longwood University. He discussed an upcoming event at the Greenwood Library. The library has received a grant to participate in the National Endowment of the Arts “Big Read Event.” There will be a community reading program and many events related to the book, Burning Bright by Ron Rash.
