In the midst of a record-breaking start for Longwood University’s men’s basketball team, first-year Head Coach Griff Aldrich and his coaching staff announced a four-player signing class that includes four high school seniors: 6-foot-3-inch point guard Heru Bligen (Prince George’s County, Maryland/St. Andrew’s Episcopal School), 6-7 guard Nate Lliteras (Seward, Nebraska/Seward High School), 6-5 wing Bennett Mohn (Austin, Texas/Lake Travis High School) and 6-7 forward Leslie Nkereuwem (Lawrenceville, Georgia/Discovery High School).
The group represents Aldrich’s first full recruiting cycle at the helm of the Lancer program and builds on the seven-player class he brought in this past spring, which has made a significant impact on the Lancers’ breakout 4-1 start to the 2018-19 season.
