Lillian E. Worrell (NanaTurtle) passed away November 24, 2018 at Farmville Health and Rehab Center. She was born August 12, 1949 to John Jasper Lewis and Lillian Eloise Johnson Lewis of Richmond VA. Lillian was joined in marriage to Roland Chambers Worrell, Sr. on April 11, 1970. Lillian dedicated her life to being a wife, mother and homemaker. She is survived by her children, Sherry Worrell (Richard Hann), Tracey Weir (Franklin Lee Weir); ; her grandchildren, Travis Weir (Lacy Weir), Katrina, Trey and Amanda McDonald, two great-granddaughters Madyson and Brookelynn Weir and her beloved Chihuahua Coco Chanel. Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, three brothers, a sister and recently her son, Micheal Chambers Worrell of Farmville passed on September 5, 2018 after a long battle with diabetes.

Family and friends may pay their respects to Lillian and Micheal at Shorter Funeral Home in Farmville on Thursday from 11a.m.-noon with services beginning at noon. Burial will be at Powhatan Community Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Hampden-Sydney Humane Shelter.
