Published 9:25 am Thursday, November 29, 2018

Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 8, and 9, Sailor’s Creek Battlefield Historical State Park will host Antebellum Saint Nicholas, a genuine 19th century Santa Claus, at the park visitor center and Hillsman House. Saint Nicholas will receive children of all ages, listen to holiday wishes and pose for photographs.

Come by the historic Hillsman House Saturday, Dec. 8, from noon-4 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 9, from 2-4 p.m. to visit the jolly man himself as he rests up for his big day sitting by the fireplace. Pets are family too, and Saint Nicholas loves having his picture taken with your furry friends.

Children and adults can partake in holiday craft stations at the visitor center including ornament painting, pine cone bird feeders and many more. This is a free, family-friendly event. Be sure to browse our gift shop for a variety of unique items perfect for Christmas.
