Supplies being collected for Florence victims

The United Methodist Women of Olive Branch United Methodist Church, Prospect, will be collecting cleaning and hygiene kits to be distributed to North Carolina for use in the aftermath of Hurricane Florence. These kits will be given directly to Stephanie Hunt who is a member of United Methodist Committee on Relief. Hunt has been serving in Fayetteville since December 2017. Prior to that she was in Evergreen, coordinating the building of homes damaged or destroyed as a result of the tornado in February 2016. As of the last week in September they were still rescuing people.

Individuals or organizations wanting to volunteer may contact Hunt directly at (919) 441-2324. Individuals or organizations wanting to donate kits or items from each kit should contact Phyllis Mason at (434) 547-9930. The items can be dropped off from 9 a.m.- 3:30 p.m. at 606 E.
