In recent months, you may have heard a bell ringing at approximately 10:55 a.m. Sunday mornings from the bell tower at Farmville Baptist Church. For many years, churches all over town rang their bells Sunday mornings beckoning residents to church. However, in 1976 as the Farmville Baptist Church’s bell was ringing, the rope broke and was never repaired. That is until now: the bell and the bell tower at Farmville Baptist Church has been inspected and reinforced so that the bell can now be rung beckoning residents to church Sunday mornings. It has also been tolled for funerals and will ring for weddings and other special occasions. Join them Sunday mornings at 9:45 a.m. for Sunday school and at 11 a.m. for Worship service at 132 N. Main St., Farmville with pastor Ronnie Kiehm.
