Members of the National Association of Active & Retired Federal Employees (NARFE) 2080 at its October lunch meeting made donations to be used for Alzheimer’s disease research. Virginia’s NARFE members received special recognition at the recent NARFE Federal Conference for having the largest Alzheimer’s donation of all 50 states. Members shown here making donations include, from left, first row, Betty Sumner, Pamela Hairston, Marie Self, guest; Jim McDaniel; second row, Ida Marcellin, Dolores Haley, Duane Benton, president; Jane Poulter and Becky Bowling. We commend NARFE and these individuals for their support in searching for a cure for Alzheimer’s disease. (Send “Way to Go!” photos with a description and names to WayToGo@FarmvilleHerald.com)
