With clean-up and power restoration still ongoing due to Tropical Storm Michael, all but one Monday night high school varsity football game in the area has been postponed.
Fuqua School (1-4) will still host Portsmouth Christian School (1-3) on Monday at 6 p.m.
The Battle of Route 60 was set to feature Cumberland County High School (0-6) at Buckingham County High School (2-4) on Monday at 7 p.m., but that game has now been moved more than a week later to Tuesday, Oct. 23, at 7 p.m. This will still be “Free Student Night.”
Likewise, Prince Edward County High School (3-3) and host Central Lunenburg High School (4-3) had also been set for 7 p.m. Monday and will now also play more than a week later on Tuesday, Oct. 23, at 7 p.m.
