Fay Pipjunge Irby, 86 of Cumberland, VA passed away on October 1, 2018. She was born on April 16, 1932 to the late Albert F. and Lizzie Dowdy Pipjunge.

She grew up in Cumberland, born and raised and was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church for life. She lived in the home place where she was born and was known for growing the most beautiful Iris’s. She loved to garden and arrange flowers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 6 sisters and 2 brothers.

She is survived by her brother Gaylord Pipjunge, 2 nieces and 3 nephews.

A Memorial service will be held on Friday, October 5, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Puckett Funeral Home.
