Eugene C. Lester, 67 of Farmville, owner of Farmville Towing Service, has passed away. He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Montgomery Lester.

Surviving are his mother, Vada Irene Yoder of Farmville; children, Jesse Lester (Nicole), Bradley Lester (Vicky), all of Baltimore, MD, Brian Lester (Tabby) of Farmville; grandchildren, Courtney Burton (Danny), Kaitlyn Lester, Jordan Lester, Madison Lester, Mason Lester, Emma Lester, all of Baltimore, MD; great-granddaughter, Sophie Burton; siblings, Patricia Hurt (Jimmy), Jean Altice (Richard) and Jerry Howerton, all of Farmville and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held September 29, 2018, 1 p.m. at the Worsham Baptist Church of Worsham.
