‘A Quiet Place’ screening at Longwood Cabin

Join the Longwood Center for the Visual Arts’ (LCVA) at the Longwood Cabin Friday, Nov. 9, at 7 p.m. for a free screening of the 2018 film “A Quiet Place.”

This thriller is set in a post-apocalyptic world taken over by creatures that hunt using their extremely sensitive hearing.

Prior to the screening, Dr. Chris McGee, Associate Professor in the English and Modern Language Department at Longwood and guest curator of this series, will introduce the film and lead a discussion to explore the themes of the film.

This screening is a part of the cult film series hosted by the LCVA at the Longwood Cabin. Campfire-themed refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to the public.
