The newly crowned Miss Virginia, Emili McPhail, will make an appearance Sept. 28 at Rick’s Mini Mart Citgo Grand Opening Celebration.

McPhail will sign autographs and meet the public from 2-4 p.m. at 14231 Farmville Road, Meherrin.

The event is from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. and will include over $500 in prizes and giveaways, while supplies last and is open to the public.
