Cheryl Jackson Tyler went home to glory on September 15, 2018.

She was born October 24, 1964 in Atlanta, GA to Eric R. Jackson and Celestine C. Jackson. Cheryl earned a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Old Dominion University.

Cheryl leaves to cherish her memories and love, husband Elder Virgil Orlando Tyler, son Virgil Orlando Tyler, Jr., father Eric R. Jackson, Sr., mother Celestine C. Jackson, brother Eric R. Jackson, Jr. (wife Ellen), nieces Selena and Karina, numerous relatives, friends, and colleagues from NASA and USPTO.

Friends may visit Wednesday, Sept. 26, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Dale City Christian Church, 14022 Lindendale Rd., Dale City, VA. with a funeral service beginning at 11 am. Bishop Patrick O. Thomas, officiating. Interment Thursday, Sept. 27, at 12:30 p.m. at the Jackson Family Cemetery, Springfield Rd., Meherrin, VA. Arrangements by Ames Funeral Home, Inc. Manassas, VA.
