Centra welcomes new physician

Centra Southside Medical Center welcomed Dr. Supriya Mannepalli, Family Medical Physician to the Centra Medical Group family.
Mannepalli graduated from Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, Basaveshwara Medical College & Hospital, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Chitradurga, Karnataka, India. She completed her Sleep Medicine Fellowship at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. She completed her Family Medicine Residency at the University of Louisville/Glasgow in the Family Medicine Program in Glasgow, Kentucky.
A few of her scholarly projects and oral presentations include Hyperparathyroidism, CMV and EBV infections, and smoking cessation.
She has also achieved the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates, which includes the accomplishments for the courses of Clinical Problem Solving and Principles of Public Health, both offered at the University of California, San Francisco.
Mannepalli is certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and is in the Neonatal Resuscitation Program. She also is a member of the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Association of Family Physicians.
Mannepalli has been a research assistant with Principal Investigator, Department of Pulmonary and Critical Care at the University of Kentucky in the Chandler Medical Center.
Her hobbies include spending time with family and friends, cooking, interior design, traveling and volunteering in her local community.
