The Buckingham Friends of the Library recently hosted its annual appreciation luncheon for staff and volunteers at the Buckingham County Public Library. The Friends’ awarded a scholarship to a staff member to pursue her master’s degree in Library Science and their support enabled the library to purchase laptops and supplemental materials for the children’s area. The next Friends fundraiser will be the Book and Bake Sale scheduled for Sept. 28- 29 at the VFW Hall in Buckingham.
