Third Liberty Baptist Church in New Canton has been without a pastor since the Rev. Roderick Galloway’s retirement. On Sunday, July 15, after a long search process, the members happily voted in Rev. Kippy Lundy of Prince George County as their new pastor.
He has been an inspiration and a blessing to the congregation over the past year. He and his wife, Cynthia and their daughter, Cierra, are truly loved by the members and the congregation looks forward to having him as their spiritual leader for many years to come. He is welcomed not only to the church but to the county. The Buckingham Chamber of Commerce Christmas House Tour will be held Sunday, Dec. 9 with the time to be decided depending on how many homes are on the tour. Please contact the Chamber hotline at (434) 983-2372 if you have questions or would like to have your home included on the tour.
