Piedmont Senior Resources and Farmville Area Habitat for Humanity are hosting a community fan drive to help seniors in need during the summer. This effort stems, not only from the very warm/humid weather, but with many seniors’ lack of access and resources to purchase air conditioners and cooling devices, as we have already been through Cool Care. We are only accepting gently used and new residential fans, not commercial, large fans, or ceiling fans. Acceptable items include box fans, smaller rotating fans, circular round fans, etc. For drop off locations, call PSR at (434) 767-5588 or Habitat at (434) 392-6627.
