Faye’s Beauty Shop, a longstanding and well-known business in what’s known as “The Bottom” on Main Street in Dillwyn, is the Buckingham County Chamber of Commerce August Community Pride Award recipient. “Willard and Faye Spurlock have added a tremendous aesthetic draw to the business, which is known wide and far in Buckingham,” said Thomas Jordan Miles III, chairman of the Community Pride Award Committee. “The newlyweds have done a great deal of work to spruce up the business, most notably the well-maintained flowers that surround the building.
