For the second year, the Prince Edward County Republican Committee’s (PECRC) public service project consisted of planting and delivering patio tomato plants to residents of The Woodland. On May 17, PECRC volunteers met at The Woodland where they potted 19 plants in containers and delivered them to residents who requested them. Most of The Woodland residents had received and appreciated plants in last year’s tomato project. Pictured are, from left, PECRC members participating, Gail Acampora, Daniel Bradshaw, Loretta Reardon and Cindy Koether.
