The Farmville Municipal Golf Course was teeming with activity Tuesday as 44 young golfers participated in the Piedmont Junior Golf Tournament. Emily Erickson won the girls 14- to 17-year-old division with an 18-hole score of 74. Cole Williams won the boys 16- and 17-year-old division with an 18-hole score of 83. In the boys 14- and 15-year-old division, Jackson Moseley won with an 84 across 18 holes. Highlights in nine-hole play included Will Johnson winning the boys 10- and 11-year-old division with a 39. In the boys 7- to 9-year-old division, Parker Allen won after a three-round playoff against Caleb Conner. (Photos by Titus Mohler)
