The Third Thursday Book Club held its annual spring luncheon at the home of B. Williams. The speaker was R. David Cox, an Episcopal priest and author of The Religious Life of Robert E. Lee. Cox was rector of R.E. Lee Memorial Episcopal Church in Lexington for 13 years. He currently serves as visiting professor of history at Southern Virginia University in Buena Vista.
