Hampden-Sydney College (H-SC) junior midfielder John Burke was named Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Player of the Week after scoring three goals Saturday, including the game-winner, and adding two assists in a 14-13 win over the Lynchburg College lacrosse team. The win clinched the No. 2 seed for the Tigers in the ODAC Tournament and a first-round bye. If Burke and the Tigers top No. 3 Roanoke College on Friday, they will play for the championship Saturday at 7 p.m. in Lexington.
