Members of the Buckingham County Chamber of Commerce recently bestowed its coveted Community Pride Award to Wise Ridge Country Store. The owners and operators of the store, located just north of Curdsville, recently erected a new, large sign near the road, installed a new roof and are currently performing interior work and upgrades. “Wise Ridge Country Store is a deserving recipient of this award,” said Community Pride Award Committee Chairman Jordan Miles. “The store’s improvements are very noticeable and have been received very well by the public and the store’s patrons.” Pictured are, from left, Jordan Miles, Faye Shumaker, Eddie Slagle, Janet Miller, Joanne Reynolds and Jeff Sheffer, owners and operators of the store.
