Spring Sky Astronomy
Published 3:51 pm Thursday, April 12, 2018
The center of High Bridge will be the location for a beautiful April sky program, starting at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 14. As our hemisphere warms for spring, seasonal changes also appear in the night sky. Orion and his dogs, who dominated the winter star field, now begin to set below the horizon. New sky heroes are beginning to rise in the east to preside over a warmer time period. A laser sky tour will point out these constellations as they change guard. Guests will also get to see impressive astronomical features through a telescope.
This event is free, but there will be a parking fee. For more information call (434) 315-0457.
