Longwood University’s baseball and softball teams will host Star Wars Day on Saturday for each squad’s home game that day. The free event will feature live Star Wars characters attending the softball doubleheader against Winthrop, beginning at 1 p.m., and the baseball game against Campbell, set for 3 p.m. The day will conclude with an 8 p.m. showing of “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” in the outfield of Buddy Bolding Stadium.
