Teen arrested in burglary, car thefts

Police have arrested a 17 year old from the Town of Crewe in connection to a crime spree that resulted in a burglary and the theft of three vehicles.

Kiequan Michael Robinson was arrested Tuesday evening in the town of Crewe. Robinson, who is from Crewe, has been previously tried as an adult. He now faces one count of breaking and entering into Farmville Sporting Goods, four counts of grand larceny, one count of petit larceny and four counts of destruction of property. He is being held at the Piedmont Regional Jail without bond.

Crewe was one of five “persons of interest” sought in connection with the incident at Farmville Sporting Goods.

Crewe Police, the Nottoway County Sheriff’s Office and Virginia State Police assisted in the case.
