Susan Glasser has had a front-row seat to the headlines that have shaped national and international politics for the past two decades, reporting from the halls of Congress to the Kremlin to the battle of Tora Bora.
Glasser, Politico’s chief international affairs columnist and host of the Global Politico podcast, will speak April 3 at 7 p.m. in Longwood University’s Wygal Hall on “Covering Washington in ‘post-truth’ America: A report from the front lines of the Trump era.”
The talk is the last installment in the 2017-18 President’s Lecture Series, which is exploring broad challenges for American democracy from a variety of perspectives. It is free and open to the community.
In her previous roles at Politico, Glasser served as editor during the 2016 election cycle and was founding editor of the award-winning Politico Magazine.
