Gusty winds throughout the Heart of Virginia have caused power outages throughout the Heart of Virginia, outage maps from Dominion Energy and Southside Electric Cooperative (SEC) cited Saturday.

Approximately 934 customers have been reportedly left without power in Prince Edward County, an outage map from SEC cited as of 9:30 a.m. Approximately 165 outages in Cumberland have been reported.

Approximately 190 customers have been left without power in Prince Edward County and Farmville, an outage map from Dominion Power cited. Approximately 428 in Cumberland report without power, and approximately 646 have reported without power in Buckingham County.
