Lady Eagles fall to Lady Dukes, 7-6

Junior shortstop Da’Mya Harris, pictured at left, and the Prince Edward County High School varsity softball team staged a rally to tie host Cumberland County High School late in Friday’s district game, but the Lady Dukes scored once more for a 7-6 win. The Lady Eagles held a 0-2 record going into their Tuesday home game against Randolph-Henry High School. Prince Edward opened the season against host Bluestone High School and fell 7-4. The Lady Eagles return to action Friday with a home doubleheader against Altavista Combined School starting at 5 p.m.
