Keith William Fitch, 79, of Henderson, KY, formerly of Evansville, IN and Hampden-Sydney, VA passed away Saturday, March 10, 2018 at St. Vincent Medical Center in Evansville.

Keith was born May 2, 1938 in Evansville to the late William Wooten and Florence (Rausch) Fitch. Keith was a 1956 graduate of Central High School in Evansville and went on to earn his Bachelor, Masters and Ph. D. from Purdue University. He was a history professor for Hampden-Sydney College for over 30 years. Keith enjoyed woodworking, movies, music, cooking, shopping and was an avid sports fan, especially of the Chicago Cubs.

Surviving Keith are his wife of 57 years, Carol (Guthrie) Fitch; a daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Peter Llaguno of Miami, FL and two brothers, Dennis “Craig” (Jackie) Fitch, DDS and Alan Fitch.
