Members of the Buckingham Dillwyn Garden Club traveled to Brookneal for the South Central District Spring meeting held March 16. It took place at the Staunton River Masonic Lodge. After the business meeting and lunch, members were treated to a very interesting display of floral arrangements by Frances Thrash of Virginia Beach. Thrash is a National Garden Club-accredited master judge and flower show school instructor. The arrangements were lovely and at the end of the program were presented to the lucky ticket holders. Three of the club members won door prizes to take home along with a pot of spring grass that adorned the tables.
