Cumberland County High School varsity boys basketball team

The Cumberland County High School varsity boys basketball team celebrates after winning its first regional championship in 27 years Feb. 24. The top-seeded Dukes claimed the 2018 Region 1B title with a 72-47 victory over No. 2 Riverheads High School. Cumberland’s 2017-18 season came to a close in the Virginia High School League Class 1 state quarterfinals. The Dukes finished with an overall record of 15-9.
