In 2018, Bear Creek Lake State Park will be offering Raven About Birds to coincide with major bird watching events hosted by Cornell Lab of Ornithology and eBird. This program will be offered around 1 p.m. Saturday.

The first is on Feb. 17, one day of the Great Backyard Bird Count. The next will be on May 12 for the Global Big Day. Another for International Vulture Awareness Day on Sept. 8.

According to a press release, these days are to help with citizen science projects for keeping records of avian populations.
