Garbage route changes for Presidents’ Day

FARMVILLE — Presidents’ Day is Monday, and it will bring changes to garbage routes. There will be no garbage, cardboard or miscellaneous/brush collection Monday.

Monday’s and Tuesday’s residential garbage pick up will be combined and picked up Tuesday. Residents should have roll-outs at the curb by 7 a.m. on Tuesday. Business garbage and cardboard will only be collected Tuesday and Friday, Feb. 23. Miscellaneous/brush call-ins will also be picked up Tuesday. Business recycling and residential cardboard call-ins will be gathered Wednesday. Curbside recycling is running on the regular schedule.

• Monday, Feb. 19 — No residential, business or call-in collection
• Tuesday, Feb. 20 — Monday and Tuesday residential garbage collection, miscellaneous
call-in, business garbage and cardboard collection, regular curbside recycling
• Wednesday, Feb. 21 — Regular residential garbage collection, business recycling and
residential cardboard call-in, no business garbage or cardboard collection
• Thursday, Feb. 22 — Regular routes
• Friday, Feb. 23 — Business garbage and cardboard
