Tigers drop to 4-11 on the hardwood

The Hampden-Sydney College (H-SC) men’s basketball team lost its sixth straight game when it fell 86-75 to visiting Emory & Henry College on Saturday afternoon.
Tigers junior point guard Malik Crute posted team-highs of 20 points and six rebounds to go with three assists and two steals. He shot 9-for-13 from the field. Sophomore point guard Chaise Johnson came off the bench to pour in 15 points, as he made four three-pointers.
H-SC (4-11, 1-5 ODAC) visits Randolph-Macon College on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
