Harris Paul Senger Jr. 67 of Farmville, VA passed away peacefully at his home on Jan. 23, 2018.
He was born on March 22, 1950 to the late Harris Paul and Jessie Wesseling Senger.
He was a self-employed diesel mechanic who had an incredible ability for making things work. He was a man who would always help those in need. His greatest joy was spending time with Jennie and Gabe and playing rummy with family and friends. He loved hunting, fishing, football, NASCAR and watching westerns. He was a member of Smyrna United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his daughter Jennie Jenkins (Mark) of Rice, a grandson Gabe Jenkins, 3 sisters; Marie Adams (Billy), Judy Wooten (Ray), Florence Southall (Bubba) all of Farmville, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends Charles Edwards and Roger Scruggs.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, Jan. 26, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Puckett Funeral Home with interment to follow in New Store Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Family received friends on Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at Puckett Funeral Home.
