A plaque was presented at Wednesday’s Farmville Town Council work session to Reginald R. Eggleston in recognition of providing 18 years of service and dedication to the Farmville Emergency Communications Center from 1999-2017. “You’ve been a great employee, very dedicated to your job, and we’re very proud to have had you work for us for all of these years,” said Farmville Town Manager Gerald Spates. Spates said Eggleston was with the town when the 911 center was started at the Farmville Town Hall. “So (Eggleston) went through the whole process with us,” Spates said. Pictured are, from left, Spates, Mayor David Whitus and Eggleston.
