Junior students at Cumberland County High School (CUCHS) celebrated receiving class rings Wednesday, Dec. 13, at the Cafetorium. The rings were presented by Principal Dr. Jeffrey Scales, who was also a graduate of CUCHS, according to a release from the school. Parents, administration and teachers attended the ceremony. “The Juniors participated in the traditional ‘ring turning’ rite by having friends and teachers turn the ring the number of times equal to the last two digits of the class year,” the release cited.
