Fuqua School’s varsity boys basketball team ended last week with its second win of the 2017-18 season, and like the first victory, it came in blowout fashion at home.

The Falcons toppled The New Community School 67-17 on Friday. They were led in scoring by senior guard Tyler Thomas with 26 points.

In its season opener Nov. 28, Fuqua routed Brunswick Academy 81-40, with Thomas supplying 27 points. Falcons sophomore guard Chipper Ford added 18 points, and freshman guard Maureon Tisdale Couch chipped in eight.

After visiting Temple Christian School on Monday and hosting Blessed Sacrament Huguenot Catholic School on Tuesday, Fuqua is set to visit Veritas School in Richmond on Friday at 7 p.m.
