Central Virginia Arts will holding its annual New Beginnings Party on Sunday, Jan. 14, from 3 to 6 p.m., at the home of Bill and Lila Reach, 801 Second Ave., Farmville. This event is the CVA’s way of ringing in the New Year with new friends and looking forward to new opportunities for art and art appreciation. There will be savories and sweet bites as well as beverages. Those interested in the arts are invited to attend and see what the CVA does to further the arts and art support in Central and Southside Virginia. The Central Virginia Arts Association, a partner of the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, is a non-profit organization bringing together artists and art appreciators at lectures, workshops, exhibits, tours and socials throughout the year. The CVA serves Appomattox, Buckingham, Charlotte, Cumberland, Lunenburg, Nottoway, and Prince Edward Counties.
