Margaret Elder Payne age 97 of Pamplin, VA passed away on Friday, Nov. 10, 2017.

She was preceded in death by her husband Osby Payne, a brother Earl and wife Kay Elder and a sister Irene.

She is survived by a sister Dorothy Arthur of Powhatan, numerous nieces and nephews and a good friend Robert Hicks.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Rocks Baptist Church in Appomattox Co. The family received friends on Monday, Nov. 13, 2017 at Shorter Funeral Home.
