Ivan Vincent Howard

Ivan Vincent Howard, 34 of Buckingham passed away suddenly on Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017 in Lynchburg. He was born July 22, 1983 to Karon W. Bailey and the late James A. “Jimmy” Howard. He worked at Longwood University.

Ivan enjoyed driving a tractor and helping out with farm work. One of his favorite things to do was cut hay. He loved his children and playing with them. He loved watching anything dealing with Alaska and living off grid.

He is survived by his wife, Toni Amos Howard of Buckingham, their children, Conner Landon and Kendyl Grace Howard both of Buckingham, his mother Karon Bailey (David) of Abilene, brother, Shawn Wesley Howard (Shannon) of Abilene, sister, Crystal Robin Crews (Mitch) of Appomattox, special mother and father-in-law, Gail Amos and Steve Amos both of Buckingham, sister-in-law, Jeri Amos also of Buckingham and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was on Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017 2 p.m. at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church in Abilene with interment in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Puckett Funeral Home is serving the family. www.puckettfh.com.
