Buckingham’s youth football team in the 12- and 13-year-old age group has had a successful fall season and will have the opportunity to play for the title of their age division Saturday.

The squad, hailing from the James River Conference, won a playoff game to advance to the Super Bowl and are scheduled to take on the Lunenburg Lightning, of the Southside Conference, at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Prince Edward County High School.

Prince Edward is the 2017 host county for the youth title games at all age levels.
