FARMVILLE — An art show will be held at the Woodlands Community Center on Wednesday from 1-4 p.m.
According to J.R. Smith, a student of the art class that’s holding the art show, there will be a door prize which will be one of the art pieces. The art class is held by Marjorie King Smith.
“Her students will have art on display, some of mine will be on display,” J.R. Smith said. “… It’ll be a great big thing I hope.”
He said some of the art will be for sale if anyone wants to purchase it. This is the first time they have held the art show.
He said all the proceeds will go to the Habitat for Humanity building houses in Israel.
“We have art class every Wednesday here at the Woodland from 10-(noon),” J.R. said. “Some of these art pieces will be displayed in the show.”
He said some other people who may want to show something can come in.
